We travelled to Kumarakom recently and stayed at Waterscapes. The location of the hotel is the best thing - the greenery and the scaping of the cottages is very well done. Stayed in Waterscapes. Was coming from the houseboat. Great cabin on stilts, mouthwatering food and to top it all the chef asking you at dinner at what you wanted for breakfast the next day. Accommodation here is in rustic cabins which are not all that comfortable. Very dark and pretty basic. The whole place has a damp feeling of mildew.
