Were here over Christmas--our 10 and 14 year old boys loved taking the bikes to explore the canals and playing badminton. Bird-watching was terrific, food and service excellent. The houseboat stay the hotel arranged was also truly amazing. Top-notch. more

One of the beautiful properties in Kumarakom, in a natural setting and not much of crowd. They have very less rooms comparitively. We got booked into a Luxury Villa and it was great with a look of by-gone era and authentic wooden furniture. This is a fantastic property. We had a superb time here. The hotel is spread over a huge stretch of land overlooking the Vembenad Lake. Separate cottages are provided to each guest. An extremly pleasant experience, right from checkin till checkout, it was a very memorable holiday. The property part heritage was very nice and the sunset as seen on lake vembanad does beg me to return to it again. The service of the staff being 100% Taj or more made the holiday satisfying. more
