Its not just the beautiful cottages, fabulous food, spotless clean rooms, well manicured lawns and authentic local food that make Coconut Lagoon fabulous....Its the very friendly, very professional STAFF that makes it an experience one would like to re-live. The attention that we were given from the moment we stepped on the property till the time we left was superb.... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for your comments on Coconut Lagoon- for going beyond the built space into the heart of the place i.e. its people. At CGH Earth we believe that authencity of offerings and experience is the biggest luxury. Thanks for your praise for the cuisine offered at Coconut Lagoon. I have also made a note of your feedback on... More

It was an exceptional experience. Pure luxury, excellent service, breathtaking location, absolute silence. We were located in one of the littel houses near the lake. The lower floor was a litle spartanic, but we were explained that it is typical of the malayam houses. The outdoor bath and shower were very clean and a nice experience. The upper floor was... More

This was the third CGH Earth property we stayed at during our tour so we knew what high standards to expect and we were not let down. We arrived by boat and were welcomed by charming staff offering refreshing towels and fresh coconut drinks. We just stayed in a standard villa for 2 nights - for longer stays I think... More

This full service eco resort worked hard to provide guests with many interesting opportunities to learn, relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. We had a two story teak cottage with an upstairs bedroom with windows and a wood window seats on three sides - a bit like a ship, and a high 4 poster bed. The very modern bath was... More

Our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Spent 2 nights, the perfect antidote to a long flight. The whole place is beautiful & peaceful but full of interest. You arrive by boat, right into reception, with your arrival celebrated by flute playing and the presentation of floral garlands and fresh coconut juice whilst you check in.The food is superb, the... Ok - I have to admit its taken me a long time to write this review as it was December 2010 when we stayed there, but it was such a lovely place I felt I simply must write one. From the moment the boat pulled up to the reception area, where the staff were patiently awaiting our arrival, playing music... More

The hotel's concept is very unique, it epitomizes "back-to-earth" or "commune with nature" concept. Everything is simple and the furniture in the villas give you the olden days and provincial feeling. I liked the property tour provided by the hotel's GM and appreciated the hotel's effort in CSR and maintaining the environment, in general. For someone who's used to complete... More

We stayed in Coconut Lagoon on 24 & 25 Dec 2011 and loved it. It was the perfect ending to our 8 day Kerala trip. We stayed in a standard villa (not a lagoon villa) and found it very nice. The room is spacious, fresh, extremely clean and the decoration is all in wood. . The bathrooms are open and... More

We wanted a resort that represented an authentic spiritual Kerala experience and CL seemed to fit that bill. Being mentioned on '1000 Places to see before you die' and glowing reviews from Fodors and Frommers certainly helped. After spending 3 days and nights we are very glad we picked CL. Rooms: (Grade - A) We were on room 221 (see... More

We have stayed in a CGH Earth property before (spice village) so we had an idea what to expect. The property is lovely, the meals top notch as always, and the cultural performances were excellent. We stayed on New Years Eve so the performances were longer and more involved. The traditional Therawad style heritage mansion we stayed in was lovely,... More
