For the business traveler looking for a country-side location, I recommend this Chateau. I have stayed there several times. Diana is an excellent and engaging owner. Her breakfast is always timely, diverse, and quite good. Access to main roads is convenient. I will be back. More

We loved this grand chateau with comfortable rooms (and bathrooms), and being welcomed en famille in the salon and dining room, by our charming chatelaine. More

My wife and I return here every year - we simply love it. Chateau de la Puisaye has delightfully furnished period bedrooms rooms and the mattresses are wonderful. The grounds are vast, include a wood, and you can take many lovely walks around the surrounding area. Very romantic. Diana and Bruno (the owners) couldn't do more to help if you... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night and found the place to be charming and welcoming. It is located in a lovely countryside with the natural park around it. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The hotel is a beautiful chateaux dated from early 19th century. We stayed in a family suite which is a large... More

The moment Diana Costes Brook opened the door and showed us into her lovely home we felt the strain of a long journey fading away. Both Diana, and the house, are completely welcoming in a very relaxing way. The chambre de Potager was perfect - huge, full of light, supremely comfortable and with a splendid bathroom. We greatly enjoyed a... More

Stayed here with a few friends for a nearby wedding. Lovely house - clean, airy, nicely furnished, large garden - with easy-going, friendly atmosphere and delightful pets. Really comfy beds, with fresh cotton sheets, and delicious breakfasts. Our hostess couldn't have been more helpful, organising meals, taxis etc for us. A lovely place to make day trips from or just... More

We were traveling through Normandy with our two sons, aged 21 and 25. We stayed one night at the chateau de la puisaye. We wished that we could have stayed longer. Our host, Diana Costes Brook (a retired barrister) was warm and friendly. We had her cook a dinner for us which used fresh local ingredients and was delicious. The... More

We were a group of five newly 50 year old school friends plus families and friends, making a party of 18 (7 of these children!). To make the party special we found this chateau in the heart of French countryside between Rouen and Paris. It turned out to be a very good choice indeed. Diana, the English hostess made us... More
