This B&B was very clean, newly furnished, had lots of parking, a strong wifi connection, good shower pressure, and the husband of the family, who served us breakfast, seemed nice. However, compared to all the other B&Bs we stayed at in Ireland the overall service was a bit unfriendly. The wife seemed distracted, and not at all chatty or inquisitive... More

Regarding the above review we do not charge 80 euros for our rooms - The booking was through a agent where you would pay commission - we charge 60 euro max for our rooms and that would be the case when all our guests check out. I feel the comment about Crossmolina itself is a bit harsh as we are... More

Location is just off the main road and about 3/4 mile walk to Lough Conn Pier. The room was modern and new, a good size with wardrobe, bottled water, tea and coffee making and TV. A nice good sized bathroom. The house had plenty of off road parking. No guest lounge. The breakfast was very good, well presented and lots... More

A perfect place for a short break. Comfortable beds showers that work and one of the best breakfasts we have had.The family who run the B&B were extremely helpful with advice on places of interest and even helped with plotting a route! More

We stayed with Richard and Ann twice during our recent two week trip to Ireland. They're great hosts who made us very welcome from the first time we spoke with them. And when we returned unexpectedly at eight p.m. on a rainy night four nights after our original 3 night stay with them, they welcomed us like returning family -... More

I was impressed on the onset as the hosts were friendly and helpful and gave us relevant information on what to do in the local area. The bedding was clean and we could get more clean towels on request. The breakfast was lovely. We hope to visit and stay at Lake View House in the future when visiting Western Ireland.... More

We booked this B&B because we were visiting Westport and couldn't get any accomodation there. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival as the room was very clean and well decorated. Our twin room was very compact and bijou, but had everything to make us comfortable. I liked getting a bottle of mineral water and tea/coffee/biscuits, and a handheld mirror near... More

Ann and Richard and their family are so friendly, the rooms are sparkly clean and the breakfasts are JUST GREAT! What more can anyone ask. The rooms have everything you need for a super break in... We stayed at the Lake View House B&B for three nights and it was a really lovely place. The family run B&B is a very friendly and welcoming place to stay. The room was very comfortable and the facilities in the room were very modern and well maintained. Breakfast was very nice and a good start to the day. We... More
