We recently spent 3 nights at Nestlewood inn while attending our daughter's ski race at Sugarloaf. Innkeeprs Dave & Alona were very welcoming and made everyone at the Inn feel at home. Our room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfasts were fantastic. In our three days we were served blueberry pancakes with fruit, french toast w... More

A one day ski trip to Sugarloaf from Connecticut is impossible due to the seven hour one-way drive-time. But that's where the good snow is. And so the idea was to stay the night before at the lodge. Then we could get up the next day, ski and make the drive home by midnight. But the price to stay the... More

The Nestlewood Inn is the best place to stay near Sugarloaf. The lodge is new and beautiful -- a traditional post & beam construction with pine paneled walls, a large stone fireplace, and dozens of gorgeous oriental rugs. Each sleeping room is unique and tastefully furnished. The location is quiet and private. Breakfast is included in the stay, and the... More

The moment you walk into this beautiful new log cabin inn you feel welcomed & at home by the young couple innkeepers Dave & Alona. Only a minute to the Sugarloaf Mountain access road & nestled into a quiet spot in the woods with wonderful amenities. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms modern, & everything about this inn is... More

Just had a 2 night getaway with my mother at the Nestlewood Inn. Everything was perfect, I felt like we were at a luxurious home. The managers David and Alona were charming and accommodating. Great breakfast of blueberry pancakes and fruit. I think this Inn would work for any combination of people, families or couples. So great seeing Sugarloaf and... More

My daughter and I stayed overnight during a college visit tip through New England. The hosts were great! And the stay was peaceful, the beds so comfortable and the blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and coffee in the am were fantastic. Wireless internet was a welcome bonus! We'll be back! More

First, we would like to thank our hosts, David,Alona and of course Sadie. You could not have been better hosts. Your family makes the Nestlewood Inn what it is, without you the hospitality would not be the caiber it is today. Thank you. Secondly, the Inn is a place that you would not expect to find in the Western Area... More

Just down the road from Sugarloaf ski area, the Nestlewood Inn is a comfortable mountain home turned into a cozy Bed and Breakfast. Everything in the Inn was fresh and new. The large living room overlooked the surrounding woods. With a small number of rooms the Nestlewood felt like our private mountain home. A great Italian Restaurant (Hugs) is a... More

My wife and I stayed at the Nestlewood Inn during the February vacation week (we're both teachers) on a friend's recommendation. Our hosts, an accommodating young couple, and a a friendly canine, made for a relaxing stay. After our days of skiing, we could always count on good recommendations for the evening's dining or social suggestions. After the first night... More
