“Superb location, quiet and historic”

Rooms are not in the castle, but in the servants quarters opposite to the castle. Nonetheless nice rooms in an old building. Quiet location ( no traffic at all, castle clock is heard every 15 min though). Car is parked on private grounds. Dinner is not served since the restaurant closed. This hotel was a pleasant stay in a romantic town. very clean, friendly owners and staff. good food, accomodated our group of 50 well, and had a great birthday there. I would come back anytime for all the personal touches they provided and to see their cute boxer dog! Very nice hotel locally owned and operated. More

We stayed here 3 nights in May. If you want quaint, this place is for you but it certainly did not meet my expectation for a "castle" stay. On the plus side, clean comfortable rooms are provided with decor to match the location. The location on the Schloss Ysenberg grounds is quiet and secluded from the noise of the town.... More
