Out-of-the-way location with beautiful views and lovely walks nearby. Rooms in the new section of the hotel are large and very modern with a Scandinavian feel. Friendly, professional staff and, best of all, absolutely superb food - better than most London restaurants. More

Considering this Lodge has a great outlook I am afraid it does not live up to it's reputation, the owner was available only in the morning for breakfast everyone was herded into one small room we never got a choice of bread and was only served brown toast, we booked a table for dinner in the bar when we arrived... Fantastic hotel with a boutique feel. Very impressed with quality of hospitality and food offered and would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting North Uist. We stayed only for one night but would have loved to have extended our stay and explored the area further if they had not been fully booked. I will definitely return. More
