We were staying in Kaptensgårdarna part of the hotel. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. It is VERY close to both (Viking/Silja and Birka) terminals. I've stayed here three times now (I keep returning for a hobbyist conference). The rooms are simple, a bit worn down and not very fresh, the cleaning is spotty and you don't get a "Don't disturb" sign so the cleaners will wake you up before 9 AM even on Saturdays and Sundays.
