Compared to other places in its category, its about the same. All things taken into consideration, I think a real rating for this place is between 2 and 3. Room was on 1st floor in 'superior building', whatever lies in the term superior remains unknown. It had the basics with big not particularly comfy bed, couple chairs, small fridge, small... More

Right in the middle of Chaweng with everything close by but quiet when you're in the hotel. Bar & staff were really fun & it was a great 3* type hotel with good amenities & rooms for the price and size/stars. Good selection of fresh fish on the beach & very well prepared. Caters well for families but fine for... More

In spite of its proximity to the crazy areas around Chaweng (like Ark Bar, Green Mango etc) the resort itself is quite quiet (except for the airplanes coming over and the fireworks). The rooms are very good, and likely the best for the price in the area, serviced regularly and properly. Staff very helpful, in all matters. Booked two adjacent... More

My husband, daughter and her financee enjoyed three nights in December at this hotel making it my second stay and my daughters 3rd. We had rooms 308 and 309 which I think are deluxe villas, they are the rooms by themselves in the middle of the two pathways. I love the position of this hotel as the waves wash the beach... More

I stayed for two nights in December. I booked last minute and got a OK deal on a room. After staying there, I feel it was overpriced. Internet is pay-per-minute. I also had to pay to make a local call. 300 bhat for the airport transfer. Overall, left a bad taste in my mouth...I got more of a feeling of... More

I stayed here for 3 nights as a single traveller and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in close proximity to everything, Chaweng nightlife and the beach is at your front door. The prices are very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area and I thought good value for money. I stayed in a villa near the... More

This summer was the first time ever i'd been to Thailand and Koh Samui! Baan Chaweng hotel was alright, depending on what you look for. I wouldn't recommend the hotel if you're lookinf for a place to relax, enjoy luxury.... the hotel is located in the middle of the main street which is very very very busy! (and looks discusting...
