We took a cooking class from Chef Christian, carefully designed by his delightful wife, Christianna and assisted by Natalie. Every detail was considered and skillfully taught. The final presentation (Omelet Napoleon, Crepes Suzette, and a Country Savory Gallette) was even better, because we all sat down and ate the final results! Christian tells the story of the origins of these... More

We stayed for one night on our way to a gite (brittany spa cottages - reviewed too). It was a lovely experience, mainly because of the owners who are possibly two of the nicest people I have met. There is a really nice relaxing, welcoming atmosphere at La Prevenchere, we would definitely go back. We are a bit picky, we... More

In the most idyllic village, this little B&B is among the greatest finds we've ever come across. Located midway in the peninsula, one can explore either the north or south shores, or both. Take the back roads in the vicinity for a real picture of Breton life. Or ask the inkeepers, Christian and Christiana, who are an endless found of... More

This B & B is a hidden gem in the heart of Brittany. Not only is the accomodation excellent but guests have the opportunity to experience gourmet cooking classes from the renown Parisian chef Christian Calle! The village and surrounding areas of Brittany are breathtaking. While we were only able to stay one night we would love to be able... More

My wife decided to take a cooking class in Brittany while I sailed with a friend. She could not have chosen a more welcoming host and hostess.I joined her after a few days and was able to enjoy some of the culinary delights that Christian (the cordon bleu chef) and my wife prepared. The accommodation was very comfortable and the... More

We stayed at La Prevenchere as an overnight stop on the way to a campsite in Brittany. What a wonderful start to the holiday it was ! Christian and Christiana Caille could not have been more welcoming or generous hosts. Knowing that the children (aged 9 and 11) were interested in food and cooking, Christian and Christiana arranged some food-related... More

We spent 3 lovely days and nights at this B&B, the owners made us feel at home. The Room we stayed in was also lovely, wait till you have breakfast, fresh breads and jams, and if you are lucky a conversation with the owners, they will advise you were to eat and what to do in the area, there is... Our hosts, Christian and Christiana, were absolutely wonderful. They were warm and caring people who helped us when our rental car broke down, made arrangements for us, and took care of all of our needs. The rooms were spotless and just lovely. St. Caradec is a charming town and is centrally located to explore beautiful Brittany. I will return to... More

The Caille's are excellent hosts who, because of their English, were able to help is plan our local excursions and chat with us each day. I would go back to Brittany just to see the both of them. The residence is lovely with large rooms and indivual bathrooms. Take all the "small European rooms" stuff you have read in the... More

The town is wonderful with a beautiful park and running and biker friendly with trails throughout the city and out along the highway that are for non motorized vehicles only. The creperie restaurant a block away was amazing for dinner and the woman at "la temptation" was very friendly and accomodating with anyone not being able to speak french very... More
