Staying at the Chateau de Trigance was a thrill. The hotel and restaurant have been run by the Thomas Family for decades. They obviously cherish their property and love their clients. We couldn't have been more satisfied by the lodgings, food, and service here even if it was provided by a close family member. Our dinner here was a gastronomical...

This is the perfect stay in a small chateau right at the Gorge de Verdon. Ten rooms in knight-style with a perfect view from the terrace. The restaurant is in a cozy although somewhat dark dining part, but the food is first class! Of course this comes at a price, starting upward of 100 euro per person. But then you...

Wonderful place really near the gorge du Verdon, great atmosphere, great restaurant, a pity that we've been only 1 night there. Much better than any accomodation in Castellane.

Normally we look for somewhere nice to stay while visiting an area, but this place woudl ahve been worth the flight on its own. We'd seen the gorges du Verdon (famous, I expect, before its appearance on Top Gear) and arrived about 3pm so we coudl make the most of our time.
The castle can be seen for miles as...

I'd expected 12th-century lodgings and a quirky experience. Wow, was that wrong! The room was terrific, the food excellent, and the place is perched on the edge of the Gorges du Verdon, a visual knockout. Make no mistake -- this is an old, old place, and the conversion of a small piece of it into a hotel has done nothing...

We didnt have the chance to stay at the Chateau de Trigance but we had a lunch there. Amazing food, excellent welcoming and the dining room is absolutely fantastic....when you travel around the Gorges du Verdon, stop there for the restaurant and try to stay overnight...you will love it....

The location is fairly isolated but close to the Gorge du Verdon (the Grand Canyon of France). Spectacular scenery in this region of France. This is a small intimate castle with an excellent staff. Dinner was very good in their small restaurant. Our room was charming with its own small balcony. The best part was coffee and breakfast on the...

Stayed there one night in the blue family room. The room was big enough, with a separate section for the kid. The balcony is surrounded by rocks and does not have a view if you are sitting down, which was a dissapointment. The supper at the restaurant was great, the only issue is that the duck was not tender. I...
