We stayed 2 nights at that wonderful place (Appartement Fantail). We enjoyed sitting between the rocks in the evening, watching birds and drinking wine. We stayed at the Eatery for 3 days in Mid December during the worst rain Takaka had experienced for over a 100 years and yet we still have fond memories of our stay. Beautiful, natural surroundings with private, quiet chalets. The restaurant serves delicious food and the hosts are friendly and attentive whilst leaving you with all the peace and quiet you are after. Highly recommended when anywhere near Takaka. More
