We stayed at this lovely Parador for six nights at the start of our holiday in Spain. Our room had a sea view and also looked out across the pool and well kept grounds. The Parador is well up to the high standards you would expect. Unusally the dinner menu includes an excellent buffet where you can have much (or as little) as you want. Location: right in front of the sea and surrounded by gardens. However, there is not much to do in Benicarló, and, in fact, it is not a "pretty" place. The parador system rates parador de Benicarlo as a 4 Star parador but in reality this is a 2 Star parador. The parador is in the shape of a U with the top ends of the U facing the sea.
