We arrived at the Hotel du Mont Aigoual after a four day walk on the Chemin de St. Guilhlem. What a wonderful end to our trip! The reservation process had been very easy and professional, but I still did not expect the level of quality and charm that we encountered. Our room was clean and recently renovated with a lovely... Never before have I stayed in such a wonderful hotel that had such terrible rooms. So horrible was our bedroom that I cried when first entering after a long journey from London. Small, dark (very little natural light), poor lighting, small 4ft 6in bed, garish salmon pink curtain across the middle of the room, very little furniture and a bath... More

A lovely small hotel, nice clean room with equally clean bathroom. Very well located and has a great pool and seating area, Very good breakfast, I only wish we could have stayed another few days as we were in effect passing through only.

We arrived at the hotel after a long drive from Paris and our first impression was not good. The outside of the hotel looked a little old and tired, typical of a Logis hotel where money has not been spent in a few years! Inside however completey different, the room was neat and clean with a door leading to a... More

We have stayed a week at this hotel each spring for the last 10 years and we love it. The countryside round the village of Meyrueis offers beautiful mountains, moorland and the steep valleys of the famous "gorges". In the village, you are never far from the sound of water as two mountain streams rush down to join the river... More

"The first thing that crossed my mind was Fawlty Towers as Stella the dragon lady lurched out of the front door of her hotel sideways and yelled loudly down the road with her right hand waving vigorously beside her head, “Thank you for staying. See you next time”. It was so contradictory it was hilarious; days later we couldn’t stop... More

Very comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. good food, with a gourmet touch. excellent continental breakfast. Madame Robert told us that she loved having English guests. We got a very good deal in April this year.

Stayed here for 1 nights on part of motorcycle tour of France and Spain. It was handy for visiting Millau Bridge and the Gorges du Tarn. We didn't try the evening food as the village of Meyrueis seemed nice enough to go for a wander and have a few beers and dine in one of the outdoor seated restaurants. Would... More

Stayed here 2 nights with a family of four (2 teenagers). Excellent choice. Clean and comfortabe rooms, very nice garden and pool and a simple, but OK breakfast (first time in years we didn't have breakfast buffet). Very central location.
