I had the misfortune to stay here for three nights in January whilst on a business trip. This place was everything I dislike in a hotel, - inefficient, tired, staff that appeared not to care and worst of all not clean. Arriving on a Monday night after a day of travel, I was disappointed to find the restaurant closes on... More

We've been here several times and, on the last occasion, drove though France from the UK to specifically stay here. The hotel is charming, the small outdoor pool a great bonus in summer and location ideal for the nearby town and mountains. The food is very, very good with excellent service .. we particularly enjoyed the superior attitude of the... More

We stayed here for a long weekend in one of the rooms in the annex building. The weekend we were there a big wedding took place as well, so we were a bit disturbed by the preparations and the party going on there, but it was still a very relaxing and charming place. The weather was great when we were... More

It is hard to rate this hotel. I have stayed here before and would definitely stay again. The building is beautiful and the staff I encountered were very friendly. I stayed in the new annex and the room was absolutely fine although no tea / coffee making facility. I was travelling for business so it was unfortunate when I arrived... More

Stayed there a few days for business, great chateau. Liked the restaurand area very much and the breakfast itself is excellent, except for the coffee. There's an old coffee automat which makes an awful coffee. But thanks for turning on classical music at breakfasts - the experience of eating in 17th century castle and listenint to Mozart is fantastic!! More

I stayed here in September 2011 in one of the new rooms in the Annex, which is much nicer than "Annex" suggests. The room was large, spacious, very clean, and elegantly decorated. (There were plenty of power outlets around the bed for people with smartphones to charge during the night.) Taking into account the room rate and the target demographic... More

Grenoble is hardly worth visiting except for business or winter sport purposes, but if you go, this hotel is an excellent suburban option. I found it quiet, my superior room more than adequate with everything a guests could expect, including a good range of TV stations, and lovely grounds + an adequate pool. What will remain in my mind, however,... More

Nearly everything here is good but the bathroom really let them down. We stayed 4 nights in Room 16. It was on the ground floor of the annex but had great views over the pool and grounds. The room itself was fine - I get the rural, rustic charm - even down to the stained chairs with frayed upholstery. It... More

Arrived on hot afternoon. Excellent welcome service, room air conditioned and adequate for one night stay. Restaurant on terrace was relaxed and casual although it would appear one is expected to start with a glass of champagne. However the meal was outstanding. The chef is an artiste and every dish was exquisitely presented. Not to be missed. More

We found this place in the "Guide de Charme" and expected a nice and relaxing hotel in an old castel. However, what we got was a poorly renovated hotel with no charm at all, musty rooms and a VERY POOR breakfast (which was not even included in the room rate...). The only positive thing was the dinner at the hotel... More

I'm pretty surprised by this opinion because the client had asked one of our new rooms, which are in the spirit of "contemporary charm". Without doubt he would have preferred an older style room with wood ... breakfast buffet is served on a 7 m long, with, besides the usual things (bread, butter, croissants, ..) brioche, yoghourt, various cheese, various...
