Wonderful is for Mrs Rosina Jones and Mr Jones as well as the beautiful house. We stayed in the penthouse suite which was far too large for just the two of us. Lovely views over lake Bala. Extremely clean. Smashing breakfast in the lovely dining room, again with views over the garden and down to the water. Only stayed two nights... More

Just back from a 2 night stay in a two room suite. Lovely views, clean carpets and bedding, and superb breakfasts. The B and B is run by a couple with genuine warmth. Our two boys loved the grounds and were luck enough to be invited to ride the gentle pony. Well located , an easy , delightful walk into... More

We have just had 3 nights at Bryn Tegid and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had family staying at the caravan park on the lake at Bala and it was an ideal base to be close to them. We had the Tegid Suite which was ideal for us and our toddler with plenty of room and fantastic views over the... More

We have just spent 6 days at this lovely guest house. This is our fifth visit and we are never disappointed, Rosina makes every stay a special one. It's so quiet here you could almost here a pin drop. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the homecooked breakfasts are second to none with plenty of choice. No little plastic tubs of... More

Saying it was a bitter cold weekend in January Mrs Jones gave us a really warm welcome. This is a real find for anyone wanting to enjoy one of the best B& B we have ever stayed at. Before we booked looked at coments from other visitors & Bryn Tegin lives up to all there comments. Would have no hesitation... More

Our experience of staying here was really magical. The hospitality was superb, with Rosina welcoming us sincerely and not only recommending places to eat out but then making reservations on our behalf. The house is splendid with chandeliers in most if not every room! The bed was superbly comfortable and vast. We stayed in the 'panorama suite' and had a... More

We stayed with 4 people for the second time at Mrs Jones fatastic house overviewing Bala Lake. And we definitely will come back again. The house is fantastic as is it's garden. The rooms are very big and fatastically furnished. You almost feel like a royalty staying in this house. Nothing compared to any other B&B we have been so... More

We saw Bryn Tegid had a great review in the Rough Guide to Wales, and then noticed the reviews here and phoned Rosina Jones direct. We had the Tegid suite, which was perfect for our family, also doing whitewater rafting at Canolfan Tryweryn, which is about ten minutes drive from the house. Fantastic breakfasts, really comfy beds and helpful and... More

We stayed here just for the weekend whilst Whitewater Rafting and what can I stay… it was exceptionally lovely. We stayed in the Panorama Room which looks out onto the luscious lawns of the country house and Bala Lake. The weather was not too good when we went so unfortunately we did not get time to appreciate it. Rosina the... More
