My family and I decided to have an evening meal at this establishment last week. The interior is quite shabby and when we tried to order from the Menu, we were told that due to a change in Management, some items were not available and frankly prices were quite high for Pub Meal. When we did get our meals, they... More

6 of booked in order to cycle around the local hills and valleys. The breakfast was good. On the basis of that we tried the evening meal which was functional but not great. The public bar of the hotel was packed with good natured locals and it was a healthy atmosphere. We relaxed in the adequate guest room on the... More

The hotel maybe slighly old fashioned but immacately clean, loads of lovely clean towels and comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts excellent.

Location: right in the center of town on the high street and the personnel were friendly. The family room was large enough to accommodate us. The room: needs desperate refurbishement. It was clean, but the window frame was broken so that we could not completely close it, so we "enjoyed" the nightlife that was going on at the rear of... More

Shower temperature didn't work in our room. Lavatory seat was broken, as well as the telephone in the room and the window. For breakfast, we had supposedly clean glasses with stains of lipstick on .... The hotel seems very popular as a local pub, meaning that the smell of beer in the lobby and the level of noise up to... I stayed at the Plas Coch Hotel for one night on a business trip to Bala. The staff were very helpful, professional and efficient. The food was excellent, I had dinner and breakfast, very good menu at reasonable prices, served promptly with a smile. The only minor complaint was about the room. Although it was very clean with everything one... More

I stopped here for just one night with three Swedish friends when we were watching the 2011 Rally of Wales, and we were really pleased we did. It wasn't really plush, but big clean comfortable rooms, good food (especially the full Welsh breakfast) and drink and friendly service. Would definately stay again.

Stayed here one night on a cycling holiday with husband and 2 friends. All our rooms were spacious, comfortable and light. The staff were very helpful, and the breakfasts were (unusually) as comprehensive for the vegetarians as for the meat eaters. The pub is a bit stark, not terribly cosy, but that's didn't bother us as we went out for... More
