Lovely location, fabulous views, modern, minimalist, take slippers for the hessian carpet though - it kills the feet. Friendly staff. Good food - langoustines and a langoustine and oyster platter. Perfect place to spend some time watching the local fisherman in the harbour - make sure you don't rush the visit - it's the sort of place a whole morning... More

Looks like the staff is taking care of French people only, any other nationality should avoid this place. Staff behaviour is just The worst I've seen. More

arrived before kitchen was opened, were advised did not serve food until 7:00pm, decided to have drinks while waiting for the kitchen to start serving, at 7:00pm on requesting a menu were advised they were fully booked and the 1st table would not be available until 8:00pm, unhappy this had not been explained at 5:30pm, not impressed, More

L'hotel du bac is a true gem situated by the small harbour in Saint Marine. With their nautical theme, the rooms are very comfortable with great views. Food in the restaurant is very good too. Shame the hotel hasn't' got its own car park More
