We liked the situation of this resort it was opposite the beach and walkable distance to the harbour which had bars and restuarants all around it. We arrived on 19th May. The receptionist was very helpful. The rooms are good sized for two. Nice bathroom too. Rooms cleaned each day and towels changed everyday if needed. Excellent four star spacious hotel on sea front near to bars restarants bank etc. Large clean rooms all with sea view i think. Fantastic food buffet. Had a week this year. Excellently sited on the sea front - I think all rooms have sea view. Nice restaurant -decent food. Room very nice with best view we've had from a hotel room. Just returned from a stay at PortoMagno Hotel in Aguadulce. Wanted to be the first to post a review as we found our stay very good. The hotel is about 25mins by taxi from Almeria airport right on the beach in Aguadulce. Stayed at the Porto Magno over Christmas and New year. If the restaurant was sorted out, it's got potential to be quite classy. Food was pretty bad but plentiful. Restaurant service poor.
