Im not going to rant on and on about this resort, Im just going to mention a few things. The food here was terrible! Yes, I know it's Cuba, but this was my fourth time to cuba and I've stayed at 3 star resorts that had way better food than this resort. I'm the farthest from picky (read my other... more

Paid 780CAN/per person plus 25CUC for departure tax and apx $100 tips. We arrived to Santa Clara Airport at 10am in the morning. Rep. greeted us outside the terminal and gave us an envelope with room keys, a map of the resort, bracelets and everything else to complete our check-in. Our bags were put on the bus and marked with... more

We arrived at the hotel after a 9 and a half hour flight to a very warm welcome - we were greeted by cocktails and dancers. Our cases got took to our room so we had chance to explore the resort. The grounds are beautiful and the gardeners are very friendly, most mornings picked me a flower. Our room in... more

This hotel was described as 4 and a half star and it's really not. Let me just start by saying that our expectations were not really high and have travelled to other similar resorts in Cuba , Mexico, Dominican. Rooms: Comfortable and large, but little worn out, also not very clean.. every day there was something missed even that we... more

This package holiday was booked last minute for my wife and I off teletext and to be truthful I had never thought of Cuba as a beach holiday destination, so I was a little dubious. Our tour operator turned out to be JMC and so we were basically looked after Thomas Cook. What can I say, after the formalities at... more

We stayed at MLD last week in September first in October. This was our first time visiting cuba and having read other reviews before we travelled I was quite nervous about what to expect. We travelled from Manchester with Thomas Cook. Flight left on time and was ok with quite a bit turbulence although this was no fault of the... more

This resort is well covered, however the fact that it is a 1 1/2 hour bus ride from airport needs to be said again and again. ( buy beer at airport need, u need to convert currency). That means this hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the nearby town is a long haul and 80 cab fare return,... more

We, family of 3 with a 5 months old, traveld to the MLD second week of October. It was our 6th times down in the carabbeans, first time in Cuba. I will center my review on the pros and cons, has others allready went all in with the details. Firstly, before departing, we were worried about two things. First, the... more

We stayed at the Las Dunas from October 9th-16th...have to say one week was not enough. We had so much fun. The resort is absolutely lovely and very large. If you don't like to walk much consider this factor but heck your on vacation what else is there for you to rush about. The entertainment staff is so lively and... more
