Share your hostesses passion for the French countryside and Normandy area. The breakfast can be extra special if you have the "best yogurt I've ever tasted". Margaret's dinner suggestions in neighboring towns were right-on. The sleeping quarters were great with roomy rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, and a shower you could actually walk in and out of. This a great... More

This B&B in northern Normandy is a perfect place for relaxing. The town is beautiful, peaceful, and the service in the house is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of sightseeing places nearby, from Bayeux to the coast, not to mention that Paris is only 2 hrs away by train.... More

Our trip to Normandy and Lisieux were awesome mostly because we were able to rest comfortably at the L'Atre Fleuri B&B. Our proprietors were extremely helpful when asked what we are sure the same questions time and again with great patience and wonderful enthusiasm's. They truly do love what they do and make you want to love it too. The... More

Margaret saw to our every need, wonderful breakfast, coffee in the room each morning (and may I say, DELICIOUS coffee). The room was comfortable and well appointed, the bathroom a dream (we stayed in the Yellow Rose Suite). A great home base for our visit to Normandy. Margaret and Jim recommended a nice little local seafood restaurant (and made reservations)... More

My husband and I loved this B&B and would return if possible. Jim and Margaret were more than welcoming and the breakfast was to die for (especially the yogurt!). Our room was very charming and comfortable and the fresh, hot coffee first thing in the morning was wonderful! There was nothing lacking about our suite and the decorations were so... More

We just came back from a week in France. Two days were spent in the Normandy region and we stayed at L'Atre Fleuri and LOVED it. It was so charming and our hosts, Jim and Margaret, could not have been more pleasant! They were also very informative and gave us a lot of insight into the region; where to go,... More

This is a perfect B&B for exploring Normandy. We loved the location, the owners, and the decorations. Our room was beautifully decorated and there was a great breakfast every morning. One of the best B&B's I've ever stayed in. More

We stayed At the L'Atre Fleuri Bed and Breakfast for two weeks in the fall 2006, it is an excellent place to stay. It was clean, the food was excellent, coffee brought to your room each morning before breakfast. The host and hostess Margaret and Jim, are retired US military so we were pleased to have conversation in English. They... More

When we travel we generally aren't looking to become immediate and best friends with B&B hosts... but when we arrived (at 4:30 in the afternoon) after travelling all day, we weren't expecting Margaret (our B&B host) to greet us saying 'You're early, you're not supposed to be here before 5pm'. Granted, this was spelled out in our confirmation, but still... More
