Le Pigeonnier was the epitome of French style - the architecture of the home, the village, our very elegant room, but most of all our wonderful host, Catherine. A wonderful house in the sweet town of Balleroy, Normandy with excellent accommodations. Catherine is a gracious hostess and serves a delicious and hearty breakfast. Her homemade jams are to die for! And Fifi the cat posed in the window for many photos ops! The only down side of our stay in Balleroy is the lack of good local eateries.... More

Excellent host Catherine could not do enough for our family of 4, we arrived on a very wet cold day and were instantly offered hot drinks to warm up, served in the breakfast room in front of the log fire. Catherine provided information on the area and recommendations for dinner which were 'spot on' for their service and quality. Able... More
