We visit Melfort Villiage every year and always have at least one visit to the Tigh an Truish whilst we are there. We were staying at Loch Melfort - Melfort village and visited here for lunch with our family including a baby. Fantastic location and fish and chips were delicious. Very friendly service and loads of character. More

A really good place to stay. What more could you want? A b and b upstairs and a pub downstairs and not noisy. We had a romantic break here in July after I read about it in Alasdair Sawday's Special Places to Stay in the UK. The inn looks fantastic.
