“Quite charming and nice staff”

All the rooms seemed really charming but we didn't get one of our first choices. The room that was available was still quite charming (La Bleue). It did have great view over the river though. Also, the adjoining garden was really nice and a great place to have breakfast. Another nice thing was that you could borrow bicycles for free... More

We stayed 1 night at the Relais Louis XI, stayed in the spacious Studio Mauve. It was a pleasant room, good size bathroom with a stunning view from the large windows on the roaring Loire. Very big, light and airy rooms, well decorated in individual styles. Don't forget to put up the mosquito net windows - the Loire river is just outside the window and lots of little flies turn up at nigh time. Lovely courtyard garden. The food was excellent!
