I can confirm all the positive remarks, that have been made already. A comfortable feeling with a rustic charme. Good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Stayed at Razhu Pru and the Orchid (when RP was fully booked); the latter was slightly cheaper and better located, the first hat a lot more atmosphere.

This was a lovely, quaint homestay style place in Kohima. There are a couple of other places to stay in the town, but this has by the far the nicest atmosphere and feels very relaxed and homely. The rooms are decently sized, clean and with hot water and good bathrooms. The only downside was the food - breakfast is at... More

My wife and I, and another couple visited Kohima. We found this place, and although Lonely Planet, may have went overboard with the term "opulent", we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here. It is an old house - from 1947?, the decor is Naga style. A fire place that the staff were willing to light just for us, so we... More

I was there with family on 18-19 March 2012 with my wife and 2 kids. An excellent service at very affordable price in the midst of Kohima. Heritage walk of Kohima village starts from this heritage bungalow only. Staff is very supportive. As we are pure vegetarian and we had what we want there from their kitchen. Overall great experience... More

This is one of the best places to stay in Kohima. A heritage bungalow with a 9 room accomodation, it has a nicely decorated living room with a real mantlepiece and simple but very clean and comfortable bed-rooms, which make you feel you are truly in Nagaland with their little items. For those who find problem in finding good food... More

Excellent location, lovely property & picturesque rooms. Heritage place this, with very polite, helpful & charming staff with a decent in-house shop. All in all a memorable stay. Food is great for the non-veg traveler, not so much for a vegan. I would have rated it 5, except for the food being too expensive for the spread being provided.

Razhu Pru is truly a heritage home. This is the only place i can think of in Nagaland. A very reasonable priced, staff is charming, food is healthy. I also liked the boutique their, a good collection of the crafts. You will just loved it and have a memorable stay.

The Razhu Pru is a very welcome addition to the utilitarian hotel scene in Kohima, there being only one other Heritage establishment with a few guest rooms. Nagaland is only now opening up to more foreign travellers, and demand for lodging in heritage buildings will be increasing. The Rhaza Pru has about 8-10 guest rooms, all comfortable but fairly spartan.... More
