We traveled with our two school-aged children. We are glad we chose Hotel Santis as our home-base there. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were absolute feasts! Our kids' favorite feature was the massage chair in the lobby! more

We stayed on a Sunday night. It is right on the main town square with lots of restaurants nearby, but there was no obtrusive traffic or other noise when we stayed. Hotel Santis is an excellent base for exploring a beautiful little area of Switzerland lots of people miss. Swiss hospitality at its best. Arrived late, after restaurant and room service closed, but hearing that I hadn't had dinner, they arranged to send up a plate of meats, cheeses and bread. Room was lovely. more

This was the second time in two years that we have stayed at this wonderful hotel. We love everything about it...rooms, dining room, breakfast, dinner, Appenzell itself........everything!
