We stayed at Pousada Hanalei in February 2012 on a surfing holiday and found it to be a perfect little paradise. The breakfast is second to none - fresh watermelon, papaya, pineapple, freshly baked cake, bread, ham and cheese, then omelettes or pancakes or pao de queijo - a little surprise each day!
The hostel is about 15 minutes walk...
