We stayed for two nights on an offer with friends who had booked the disabled room. The hotel is accessed via a housing estate odd... But once you go down the road across the field you could be miles out in the countryside. We were given a warm welcome and booked dinner albeit a little later than we hoped however... More

We found a perfect hotel for what we needed - relaxation. We had a 2 night voucher break. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. The bar and lounge are perfect. The food is superb and plenty of it. The room was comfortable with an en suite wet room which was ideal for me with a... More

Great hotel, comfortable, charming people, lovely food. Tom showed a lot of humour and advised us well in terms of food choices. Superb mushroom, bacon and cheese starter. Breakfast was terrific. Housekeeping slipped up - didn't replace a bulb even though I left it out and obvious, bin was not emptied and cup not washed. Good to see a great... More

We've just arrived home from a fantastic evening meal at the Hotel and couldn't wait to share our fantastic experience. Robin welcomed us first and made us feel very welcome we were then met by Tom who was also very charming and welcoming. The food was outstanding. They catered for our 3 children very well. I would recommend the bread... More

The approach to the hotel is through a post war housing estate and there are some commercial premises nearby but the hotel is well signposted and is nicely situated with fields around. This was a KGB deal to include a two course meal on the first night but the food was not off the normal menu. Instead we were given... More

If you don't actually reach the Hotel then the location may seem strange. The location is perfectly described in the previous review. Hotels have Table d'hote menus as well as A'la Carte - you can upgrade any time dining from the table d'hote is not exactly cheapo but glad that you enjoyed it anyway. Staying away on a voucher should... More

Stayed here 30 + 31 March 2013. When booked, we were told that there was a wedding on the Saturday, which was no problem for us. However, it would seem to have been a problem for the hotel staff. We booked in to a stony silence from the female member of staff, who was more intent on receiving our discount... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the Lordleaze in March on a voucher deal. We are really glad we did because the hotel is fantastic.
