We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and highly recommend it for its charm, quiet, comfortable rooms and great location. The hotel owners were very helpful and breakfast is quite tasty. More

We stayed one night and found this hotel to be very well located. We were right in the center of town. Parking was not far away. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. We were very comfortable there. The breakfast was very good. We recommend this hotel. More

A really special old-fashioned cosy place to stay. The staff could be a bit friendlier and warmer, and not so "Nordic". Breakfast was nicely done in a great breakfast room. More

A quirky hotel spread over two half-timbered and rickety-looking buildings in the middle of the old town. Our room was spacious, sunny, comfortable and attractively decorated and had two large windows overlooking a pretty enclosed garden. However, storage space was pitifully lacking – the clothes rack was barely a foot wide (for a double room) and there was no chest... More

Our room was large and quiet. The breakfasts were ample. The landlord had a nicely understated sense of humour and, like everyone in Sweden, spoke excellent English. The hotel is well-placed for the centre and the harbour. The shower hose needed fixing but otherwise everything was fine. More

Charming on the outside but poor quality at the inside. Room is ok apart from very hard and quirky beds (extra bed woke everybody up when turning in it). The room was on the ground floor and very warm, It was necessary to sleep with open windows with people walking by talking. The owners/staff are correct but not very enthusiastic... More

I suspect a lot depends on which room you get. Ours was on the ground floor overlooking the road and easily accessible to anyone who might choose to climb in through an open window. The small, hot and poky room was very badly laid out - the TV faced the bathroom door. Some reviewers mentioned the pub .. For us... More

This is a small hotel with only 24 rooms situated in the middle of the medieval city of Ystad. The hotel consists of separate lovely old buildings around a wonderful garden/inneryard. Its walking distance to the railway station and to main square. The room was normal in size decorated in an old style. A bit dirty wallpapers and worn furniture.... More
