My hubby and I went to Ystad Saltsjobad to relax and reload. We stayed in a small room with sea view, ate dinner at the restaurant and stayed late in their bar and drank wine. The room was light, clean and cosy. The restaurant is quite pricey but the food was really delicious!! After the dinner we stayed in the... More

Stayed here with a spa + 3-course dinner package with my girlfriend. We have an ocean view room. The room was really nice with excellent view of the beach and water. Only issue with the room is the bed was fairly small for two adults. Think it was a 150 cm wide bed or so which is a lot less... More

Forget swedish service of the past. This is a modern, warm and friendly atmosphere at a stylish and upscale place. Nice rooms, great patio and beatiful environment. Go to relax, have a few drinks and just enjoy yourself and the others here. More

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried about my stay at Ystad Saltsjobad. However, when I arrived in Ystad(by train from Copenhagen...an easy and pleasant journey) I was totally blown away. The town is absolutely beautiful. It is well worth going into town and check things out. Just remember that Ystad is in an agricultural area.... More

No the rooms are not too big. But therefore the beds are fantastic and the view from our standard room was all we could wish for. And the water tap was constructed a little weird. All 4 in our group turned the other way. But thats a detail. The smiling personel, the great spa with couch before a fire place... More

The rooms are not large but ok. Am located in the old building where the rooms are called superior. Would not like to see the normal rooms. Too pricey but clean. The restaurant was a joke. Being a swede I know a bit what to expect from swedish service which is usually pretty good. The food is ok but the... More

We stayed in a deluxe room overlooking the sea as we needed a triple room. For the money it was expensive but Sweden is expensive full stop. The bathroom was very small (shower only), internal but clean. The decor is New England Style in the rooms with black and red corridors leading to it which is rather strange at first.... More

Very expensive and bedroom tiny, although beautifully decorated and furnished. Wardrobe the smallest we have ever encountered - around four foot wide but only six inches deep! Equipment included lovely towels and thick dressing gowns. Bathroom very tiny. Balcony with view of sea to side. Lots of opportunities for lounging around hotel though so very comfortable.Staff very helpful. Restaurant food... More

We arriived to the hotel at about 3.30 in the afternoon. The staff at the reception was very nice and made us feel very vwelcome. Our room was situated in a long corridore there the walls were in blood red and the doors were black, strange combination that made you feel like you were in a night club. The door... More

We had booked a deluxe room. We arrived about 5pm and were allocated a sea view room that was small and very poorly prepared. There was scaffolding at our 3rd floor window. The room was rejected, but we were told all the deluxe rooms had been allocated - at 5pm? We were given another room but only for that night... More
