Good hotel friendly staff very clean rooms a bit too far from city centre even though trains are quite easy to get too and very close. Takes about 30 mins at least to get to centre of town.

Overall a good hotel, conveniently placed for the Bilbao ferry terminal and good overnight parking facilties. Although the restaurant and bar is uninspired and soleless the food was of a good standard. The rooms are clean with all of the usual gacilities expected of a 4 star hotel, however, the pillows are a nightmare!

I booked this hotel for our four day stay in Bilbao in a hurry and didn't realise that it was a distance away from the centre. Even the taxi driver said "Why you stay here, this is not Bilbao" However, the hotel room was excellent with the bedding changed daily and there was a two seater settee in the room...

The hotel is quite a long walk to the metro , 20 to 25 minutes so not ideal. The area is clean and modern but not too much to do in the evening.
The sofabed in the room was only a two seater size which is just to small to sit on.

Overall a very good place to stay but the overnight parking charge was a bit expensive on top of the cost of the room. The Novotel in Bordeaux Lac does not charge for parking so that worked out at better value for me but the Bilbao Hotel is better overall.

Made reservation last December for August and I booked an ordinary room but on arrival asked for disable room for my husband who is now in wheelchair, staff were helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and quiet.

I stayed here with my wife and 2 children the night before our ferry home at the end of our summer holiday. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel; it is a typical chain hotel but was clean and modern.
