This hotel is a 15 minute walk up/down a gorgeous coastal road from the pretty town of Banyuls sur Mer. It's across the driveway from a small beach, Plage des Elmes. Booked for two nights in Feb 2012, we booked a sea view with balcony! Firstly great sea view, but balcony no, you open the door to be greater by steel bars and a planter! Stayed one night very stormy and we were delghted to be able to book in we were given a choice of three rooms and chose one of the garden roomscas we were travelling with our three labradors this was quite small,simple but our choice. the restaurant was very good with excellent food and the recommended wine was just right copious... We stayed here one night on a public holiday - consequently the room which would normally be 60 euros at this time of year was 72 euros. As there were few rooms available and we were on a tight budget (room-wise, we prefer to spend on food etc) we booked the cheapest ("coté jardin") which turned out to be dark... More
