We have just returned from a week in Sol Cayo Guillermo. We had been on the Classical Cuba Tour a week before so this was our chillout week, and it certainly was. The food was excellent all cooked and prepared in front of you, fresh pizza's, meats, pasta dishes, and they cater for everybody. I defy anybody who is fussy... more

My wife and I stayed here in October this year. I had read the reviews before we went and I would like to assure everyone that the negative reviewers must have either stayed at a different hotel or have a sad life! This hotel and more importantly the staff are both excellent. We stayed for two weeks and didn't want... more

Do you have a Facebook account? - check out the Sol Cayo Guillermo regulars group. I first visited this hotel in 2004, and have never been on holiday anywhere else since! We have now stayed at this hotel 5 times, and can't wait to book again for next year. Cayo Guillermo is a small island off the North coast of... more

After our first trip to this hotel earlier this year we were delighted to book again and return in October. I'd like to point out that I never saw any overgrown parts of the gardens and yes the beach is narrow but if you'd done your homework before going to this hotel then you would be aware of that! As... more

Bad points first: had to change rooms everything was very dirty and stained including pillows, beds and chairs. First room had a hole in door and lights hanging of wall and very tatty and run down then they moved... more

We stayed at the SCG from 15th Oct to the 30th Oct with 11 family members travelling. We flew from Manchester and had excellent service at the airport from check in staff, the Thomas Cook flight was excellent with surprisingly good leg room which we didn't expect. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted with cuban music and dancers... more
