We had a lovely stay here. All the staff were very welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean. We had a lovely meal on the night which was tasty and good value. Good choice of breakfast. A great location for visiting Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. The only criticism would be that the shower wasn't very powerful.

An old style local pub..in the best sense of the word. Friendly staff and landlord/lady. Good choice of beers. Fabulous sunday lunch. Good jukebox and big footy games on telly or relax in the posher lounge. A pub for locals but never unfriendly to visitors.
