Trying to avoid expensive hotels in the Zugspitze area we came across this wonderful residence where we have stayed twice now. You literally feel like prince and princess in the Felsenheim, a 300 years old, very carefully renovated palace. We have just come back from a lovely 2 week stay at Felsenheim. The accommodation is excellent and very well placed for walking into town for the restaurants and shops. The owners could not be more friendly and helpful, with daily recommendations for walks or tours in the area. There is so much to do whether you have young children,... More

We spent 8 days at the Felsenheim. The rooms were big, our apartment had 3 rooms. The ski accomidations were fabulous and the hotel is located just at the base of the lift.
