Typical Ibis quality, maybe a little on the expensive side but I think this is due to the location near several ski areas. We visited Megeve and Flaine from here and found both to be in easy reach. Breakfast was limited and expensive for what it was. For evening meals, I would recommend China Wok directly across the road.

If you are looking for a value hotel that isn't falling apart, then Ibis Sallanches is one for you. Easy access from Geneva & a quick drive up to Megeve for skiing made for a great weekend for us. Very clean hotel with friendly staff, all of whom spoke English at reception. The manager was very polite and jovial. We noticed he spoke a number of languages and easily switched between languages when dealing with us and answering the telephone! No problems with the room. Standard Ibis hotel. Bed was fine, room was spotless as usual, toilet/shower unit was reasonable. Wifi entails free usage of an Orange hotspot - which limits total bandwidth usage and - more importantly - internet telephony.
