I stayed at this suite recently and it was awful. It was poorly insulated and cold, only a small heater available. No laundromat on premises or in town. The manager wanted me to keep the cold water running to prevent the pipes from freezing. Go figure. You have to duck under the bunk bed to sit on the sofa and... More

When we were evacuated during the Peachland fire Irene and Hugh Simpson made their Lucky Duck suite available to us. What a charming unit with so much thought given to the decor!!! and the hosts were very friendly and charming. I would not hesitate to recommend the Duck and Pug to anyone vacationing in Peachland or looking for a night's... More

We stayed at the Duck & Pug while looking for a home. We are planning on moving to the okanagan, and stayed in Peachland while we checked out properties in Summerland & Naramata. The hosts (Irene & Hugh) are both very nice people and we will stay again. They are pet friendly and supply doggy towels and a bag of... More

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the tiny but functional Boathouse. As campers and backpackers, the luxury of having a small fridge, hot shower and comfy bunk bed were well appreciated. With a new puppy in the family, we couldn't do our normal canoeing, hiking and camping holiday. We loved the eclectic decorating, view of the marina and lake... More

the suite was very large and cute. Everything you need to live just bring your groceries. We found the suite very quiet and didn't hear noise from neighbors. A vacuum is needed especially when dogs are allowed, we tried to clean our dogs' fur up as best we could before we left. Very close to a lot of restaurants and... More

We stayed 4 nights in the Lucky Duck Suite #1..we were fairly surprised when we arrived as to how large and clean the suite was..Had a washer and dryer, nice little sitting room with fireplace and tv..a full kitchen with all sorts of gadgets including a microwave...a beautiful bathroom and in the very back of the suite was a huge... My rating would be higher but for the suite-to-suite noise. Our unit was charming (sure they are on the small side but then Peachland is perched on the edge between mountain face and lake!) and kitchen well equipped, hosts very helpful and responsive (they quickly and diplomatically handled an issue with a guest who broke the non-smoking rules), and the... We stayed in the Boathouse Studio, which is a little one-room suite on the water. We found it very comfortable and cute, but extremely tiny. The log bed is elevated over the sitting area, and it is a bit uncomfortable for visiting the bathroom in the middle of the night. But for the few nights we stayed, it was just... More

We stayed in two of your suites, Suite 1 & Heritage. Very clean, great view & bed was comfortable. We took our black lab with us, there was a doggy beach, close by; very clean. Many restraunts accompadated us with our dog, we were able to sit on some of the patio's with him, they provided water & ice cream... More

After signing up as a volunteer to work at Ironman Canada in Penticton the last weekend of Aug 2010 I procrastinated arranging accommodation until Penticton and surroundings were more or less sold out - D'OH! I stumbled across the website for the Duck & Pug Lakeshore Suites in Peachland and contacted the owner for availability - the "Boathouse Studio" was... More
