What an oasis in the enchanting dust of Sri Lanka.. Incredibly value at about £75 for half board in a stand alone cottage, stylish decor and set in lovely open grounds. We stayed here for 3 nights on our tour. We loved every minute of this hotel everyone was so friendly. From the Gardners to the hotel managers nothing was to much trouble. We had a lovely room very clean they come and turn down your beds everynight we had flowers on our beds. The resturant was great lots to choose... more

The journey from the airport to the Cinnamon Lodge was a gruelling 5 hours. However, once you arrive I hope you agree it’s worth the journey. What a shame we only booked 4 nights at this hotel. Lovely Hotel, rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Food was excellent and I liked the separate airconditioned dessert room the best.
