Tucked away from the gambling hustle of the main city, Victoria hotel is well located (2 bus stops via bus no.10 or a short 10minutes walk) from Border Gate for a trip to nearby zhuhai. The bus terminal is at Border Gate as well. From the bus terminal, you can easily hope on a free bus to Venetian or City... More

I picked this hotel after a cursory search for lodging in Macau. I didn't want a casino hotel, or a chain hotel, but something more "local." A 2009 reviewer mentioned that the staff did not speak English. Since my Mandarin is at a functional level, I decided to ignore that advice and booked a room for two nights there. I... More

My friends and I stayed there on Dec 31. The staff (and like most people in Macau) spoke Cantonese, so I was able to get by okay; however any other language may be a bit difficult (a friend that I was traveling with only spoke English and German). We had arrived to the hotel earlier than anticipated (~1:30pm) and the... More

We stayed here from Dec 24-26. The reception staff we good but had some English challenges. We tried the restaurant but the staff avoided us because none could talk English and there was no English menu. So we ate elsewhere. We asked for a queen bed and got 2 rock hard singles which is typical Chinese. There was no room... More

It's a good hotel for stay in Macau and if you want to visit. It was a bit away from the town center but had a bus stop accoss the road with a number of buses that would take you to the ferry or the center of town 5 minute walk to all the free casino buses. Taxi is quite... More

We, a family of five, stayed there for one night on 21st of April, and because Easter falls on 24th April, it was considered peak season in Macau and thus higher rates for the rooms. They do not have a single room for five occupancy. Therefore, we have no choice but to take two double rooms for a total of... More

This is my personal experience. Overall, i'm pleased with my stay as i chose to stay at Macau centre, although my conference was in Taipa. My booking was done via booking.com, which was a breeze. I arrived ~5.45 pm, already dark. The reception staff attended me well although there was a group of newly checked in guests who had hard... More

Although I was staying at a friend's flat and not at the hotel, I spent quite a bit of time between meetings chatting with colleagues in their rooms this last long weekend. Double room was MOP600 on a Saturday night, which is very good for what is provided: typical 3* amenities, daily linen & towel change, bottled water, electric kettle,... More

This is certainly not how it is made out to be on hotel reservation websites. Stinky and small rooms, no services, bad location, unfriendly staff, you name and this place has it. Not worth the money at all. More
