I have been to Macau many times, so I was looking for an inexpensive hotel with a decent location. I read the reviews on East Asia, and it seemed a good choice. The location is good, and the bathroom is clean, nice, with a great shower. But the bed was HORRIBLE. I stayed two nights and got very little sleep.... More

Getting there was a Lil bit hard because of the narrow corridors and streets but its near Senado Square though ( You should stick on your map). This hotel is nice with a big room and clean restroom. (typical 2 star hotel). At first when you enter you could smell the cigarette stench in the room but it will be... More

Nice hotel for one or two days staying. Free Wi Fi. I stayed at the 5th floor that has been renovated. Clean.

I stayed at this hotel when it was under renovation. The entire building was covered in scaffolding and netting, and at first I thought the taxi driver was trying to dump me in an odd location. The hotel didn't even look open! Due to the renovation, there was construction right outside my door for 3 hours one day (while I... More

East Asia Hotel is an old grand hotel that has seen a better day. But it is still a comfortable place to stay in a great location. My husband and I both slept very well here and the price was a huge discount when compared to newer hotels or the casinos. It still was not cheap - our double en-suite... More

Yeah, so something was missing when I checked into my room--a single blessed square inch of daylight. If you're not claustrophobic and don't care about fire safety then no big deal I guess. So here's the rundown: Location: fabulous if you're here for the UNESCO sites. It's right near the gorgeous square that fronts onto the Leal Senado. Cleanliness: Actually... More

Spent a night for transit to Hong Kong. The location wise might not as good to the central hotel as required lot of walk to the nearby touristic point. We are staying at 3rd floor. The room is not really pleasent and lack of maintanance and It is not sounds proof as you easily heard the noise at the corridor.... More

The hotel is located in a side road just a few minutes walk from the Senado Square. As walk-in guests we requested to see the room first, the Hotel Central refuses to let the guests have a look first. They showed us a room on the 5th floor, the whole floor as well as the rooms are newly renovated one... More
