This hotel does not match its website. The basic rooms are like hostel rooms and were damp and smelly. Both the restaurant and bar were shut in mid august. The spa area was adequate but small. There are better places to stay in town for the same or a little more money. More

Very interesting interior decoration decision - in each room one of the walls and ceiling are not decorated at all, and are left of naked concred, as from construction step. I have spent several vaccations in Kuressaare and Johan Spa is definitely one of the nicest boutique Spa's in the city. It has a central location, nice modern design rooms and a small pool area. I definitely also recommend to rent the top floor private sauna and terrace jakuzi. More
