The hotel is very big but at this time of year (end-March) it was surprisingly quiet. Maybe that's the reason why it was not very expensive. What it lacks in rustic charm is more than made up for in cleanliness & service. The location is lovely by the river (which you can swim in easily) & the pool is good, service is also excellent. Would recommend it highly. More

This place is not bad, it just isn't great. I was so excited to be visiting Palenque, but this place lacked charm.
