The number one hotel in Gera Lario, nothing unique but exact what you would expect. Price good, good shower a good hard bed. No luxury and very nice people. Check out bar Pace, the lounge bar at the port and the sympatic Geralarians.

arrived about 9.30 and it was empty.
had an ok meal.
they do nice pizza and you can get it take away.
staff were pleasant.
no real complaints, maybe go a bit earlier than we did.

We spent three nights in Gera Lario, a tiny village near the North end of Como Lake. We explored the hill sides and walked the lake shore. The mountain views in the area are spectacular and walking or even driving up from the lake is very rewarding. There are fine restaurants close by, 5 Casa being one, about 2 km...
