The hotel is older but has all of the amenities. The free breakfast while sitting on the porch watching the sun rise over the lake was magnificent. The site could not be more picturesque. On Wednesday the boat to Luino provides access to a lovely market experience.

Plus points are a lovely location right by the lake, charming family owned atmosphere, stylish rooms, excellent staff and a good restaurant. Minus points are the parking can be a nuisance and the town of Cannero itself doesn't have the charm of many of the lakeside resorts. But these are minor issues.

We traveled there over Columbus Day weekend. There is no parking right by the hotel, but they will meet you at the public parking area if you request. Fantastic staff with very warm welcome. We have a teenage daughter with us but our room was very spacious and comfortable and it had a small kitchenette.

A very well run and friendly family hotel. perfectly positioned on the lake, It is worth paying a little more for a lake view room as the view is stunning.It is just opposite the passenger ferry stop which makes trips around the lake very easy. there are also plenty of alternative dining options in the twon.
