If it weren't for the absolutely fantastic staff, this would have to be a "poor" rating. All the staff were uniformly excellent--the front desk staff were helpful and accommodating, the restaurant staff delightful, and the dive operation was one of the finest we've ever experienced. And the rooms were clean with a nice ocean view. But, everything else fell short.... More

Without a doubt, the best, friendliest, most accomodating staff you will ever find - they were awesome!! They knew your name from the first day and greeted you often. Remote location, so don't plan on doing much other than diving and hanging out. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable, but I would have liked more storage or shelving.... More

First, the staff MADE the resort. If it weren't for the staff it would have been barely tolerable! Food: Littlegor is completely right - the food was ALWAYS cold no matter what time you arrived for lunch or dinner. The buffets were basically the same every night. so after 8 days I was soo looking forward to leaving. We got... More

First, the positives. The staff at this resort are amazing - so friendly and always willing to help. They knew everyone's name and there was a big smile whenever we saw them. Sadly, the rest of the report is not so positive. This resort, while having a lot of potential, has a long way to go before it comes to... More

I have never enjoyed a spot as much as this. We arrived in Cebu after a long flight and were picked up by Kasai Village staff. The ride was long but they made it fun for us. When we arrived at the resort it seemed like it only took all of the staff a few minutes to remember everyones name.... More

we spent a week at Kasai Village and dived three times a day in general. The house reef was awesome, with an incredible number of species of fish, invertebrates and coral. Staff were terrific at helping us find unusual and stunning specimens including mandarin fish spawning. Our room was immaculate and had a beautiful view of the sea and pier.... More

You will never find a more devoted staff than the lovely crew at kasai village resort. They are so eager to please! This is a semi remote location and it takes a bit of effort to reach, but the signature sardine dive at nearby Pescador Island was the single best dive we have ever experienced. The dive masters, Alex and... More

We had a great stay a Kasai Village Beach Resort and loved every minute of it. Accomdation was nice and the Dive team were very professional and knew all the dives very well. Mark and the diving operation were top-notch and they also kept us entertained after the dives and in the local town in the evening. very amusing !... More

I stayed at Kasai with a large group of scuba-divers, we were basically the only guests there so it felt like everyone was making sure we had a good time- which we did! The staff to guest ratio was probably 2:1, and we never had to lift a finger for anything. Excellent buffets for every meal under the supervision of... More

My husband and I traveled to Kasai Village Beach Resort (www.kasaivillage.com) in February of 2009 and left hoping that we would return. We just returned from our second visit and are as pleased with our trip as we were the first time we visited. Kasai Village is a beautiful and well-maintained resort. Owners Michael Petterson and his wife Lydia are... More
