This was our first all-inclusive. We went with our two children ages 9 and 11. They thought this was better than Disneyland. Service - Great service. The location, the food, the facilities - everything was awesome. As well as all the pools around the complex, some of the room blocks had their own private pool as well!! Very impressed, definitely the best hotel we've ever stayed at! more

The staff is great, but the service and food in the restaurants are not 5 star, The gourmet is the best, the steakhouse meat is the worst I've had on vacation. My boyfriend and I went on our first vacation together and had the best time at Iberostar Maya! I can't say enough about this resort. We had a great room located perfectly between the pool/beach and Lobby. It takes some time to get used to the maze like halls throughout the resort but we managed. The Iberostar was very nice. Our room was a Jr. Suite at the Maya and it was a very roomy. The only complaint was that the beds were hard. It bothered me more than my husband. I did call housekeeping for one of the foam egg crates and it helped a bit. If you like softer beds, you should call... more
