As a one night stop en route to Bavaria and Austria, you couldn't find a better hotel. Not cheap by UK standards but the warm welcome and the quite excellent food is well worth the price. We have now stopped over at the Krone for the second time in the lead up to Christmas on our way further south. It's a great example of a friendly warm comfortable gemutlich Germany hotel.
