This is the second time we have stayed here but will probably be the last. We knew what to expect in that these are old basic but clean apartments in a good position so didnt expect anything else for the money, however this time we found standards had slipped, ants in the lounge and on furniture, uncomfortable bed, limited hot... more

Was fantastic, lovely rooms/apartments, bars and reastaurants nearby and th elovely marina down the hill. Bit of a trek to the strip up and down hill. only disadvantage. Food n drink quite cheap and lots of choice. Pool bar expensive. more

We stayed (again) in Balcon del Mar over Christmas and New Year and it was, as always, an unforgettable holiday. Just back from two weeks in Lanzarote. Food was just amazing and finding Dooley`s bar in Puerto del Carmen was the jewel in the crown. The apartments were of their age but kept very clean. The complex is very quiet and secure. The poolside restaurant/bar is run by Rachel and Jason who make visitors feel like they are long lost... more

Would not recommend these apartments!!! Had to change apartments after the third day because our apartment was ant invested (id say the ants had a better time than us!)!! Apartments were miles away from the centre!! I have never stayed in such appauling conditions!!!! more

stayed at this hotel in 2008 for a week and thought it was amazing so we went back this year for 10 days and it was still amazing. staff are fantastic, rooms are clean, nice balcony, 2 pools and a loveley pool bar, had such a great time will probably be visiting again in the future maybe for 2 weeks... more
