Booked a chill out self catering week at the Cinco Plazas for half term and had a lovely time. Central location, clean apartment and complex with more than enough sunbeds dotted around 3 swimming pools. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here.

Clean, 4 outdoor pools, plenty of sunbeds, friendly staff. Self catering kitchen well equiped. 5 mins walk from beach & restaurants. Delighted with our stay. Nicos nearby was best restaurant by far. Old town/harbour 3 euro taxi (10mins) away, beautiful market on Sunday & lovely restaurants.

We stayed for 2 weeks last August & loved it. The cleaners especially were lovely & made us feel very welcome. My little girl called one of them abuela(nanny). All staff were lovely. The location was great. Will definitely go back.

Good apartments and clean but the pools were all freezing and we went in May. So cold the children could only swim for very short periods without their teeth chattering! Positives - puerto del carmen has fantastic tapas restaurants with very authentic food. Clean and well equipped rooms. Negatives - pool was freezing and far too cold for the kids to go in. They can heat but stop in april!?! Evening entertainment and noise went to 1-2am each night making sleep impossible which is not ideal for a family resort.... More

just arrived back from a brilliant 11 night stay, while the weather wasn't great, everything else was. Appartment and pool very clean and tidy, hotel staff excellent. Evening entertainer and club superb, offering up to 3 evening clubs to look after the children. To cut things short I shall use bullet points: . Family Friendly . Freezing cold pools . Average food . Service was average also and finally the area is on a steep hill ( would not recommend for elderly) but very near the beach!
